There is nothing in my prefecture. Why?

No Board in those prefectures is yet known to have posted a direct-hire ALT job. It is a record of what has been found, not a statement that nothing exists there.

Hiring shifts from year to year, so new direct-hire roles can open anywhere. Marking the prefecture adds you to the count for that area, which is what gives a Board there a reason to consider recruiting directly.
